It is so easy to get caught up and overwhelmed by the goals you are setting for yourself. Whether it is to drink more water, to get more steps in your day or even just to be nicer to yourself… you are not going to be perfect, and it is not going to happen overnight.

One way that we have found works best for reaching our goals, is to start small. A step towards your “big picture” goals is still a win! By creating stepping stones for yourself, and having a daily goal for yourself- you are going to be more likely to stick to it. Before you know it you’ll be achieving your BIG goal(s)!

For example, if you were to set one goal, or implement one habit, for yourself each day it could look as simple as:

MON  🏃🏽‍♀️ Never miss a Monday — get in a quick workout

TUE   🥗  Track all of your food

WED  💦  Drink half of your body weight in ounces of water

THU  📕  Take 10 minutes to recharge yourself mentally

FRI   😴   Get at least 7 hours of sleep

SAT  🧋   Try a new shake recipe

SUN  🧘🏼‍♀️   Spend 10 minutes stretching

Consider it practice. How many times have we all heard, “practice makes perfect?” We aren’t really reaching for perfect with this, however, Practice DOES make progress. And, when setting goals for yourself progress is exactly what you are looking for!

Take the time, make a plan and track your progress for your small, daily goals. Your brain likes to achieve things, and it doesn’t care how small the achievement is. A win is a win, and will help you stay motivated over time.

If this particular plan doesn’t work for you, make your own that caters to your long-term goals. You got this!
